Though Scott will not be performing at this event, it will serve as the launch party for Bear Family Records' Red Simpson box set that he produced. In coordination with the launch of their new exhibit "The Bakersfield Sound: Buck Owens, Merle Haggard and California Country," Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum editor Michael Gray will moderate a panel featuring Scott and fellow writers Randy Poe and Robert Price as they discuss their contributions to the companion book that will be released in conjunction with the museum's two year celebration.  This will be an informal discussion and will be held in the Suntrust Community Room.
